TREND 1: Hype is Dead

Can we all please rejoice on this one? For the past few years the network marketing industry has been shiny object OBSESSED. A lot of people are jumping from one company to the next hoping that they will find the holy grail company.

Leaders are leading with the message of “grab your spot before it’s too late” or you don’t want to miss out on this “ground floor” opportunity.

I am so excited to say that this message is NOT going to resonate in 2023. Too many leaders and followers have gotten burnt from jumping around too much. Many people have left behind solid incomes in hope of the magic bullet only to find shady business practices and low quality products.

2023 is going to be all about STABILITY and QUALITY and I am sooo freaking here for it.

TREND 3: The Best Social Media Platforms to focus on in 2023

This is another big one that is going to knock people across the head because for years Instagram has been the “go to” platform for building a brand and business on social media. Well, I am excited to share that the Instagram Reign has ended.

If you want to build a brand new audience from scratch then Instagram falls at the bottom of the list for 2023.

At the top of the list is Tiktok and youtube!

Facebook is also going to be HOT this year. With the introduction of Facebook reels people now have the opportunity to get their content in front of brand new people who aren’t yet friends or followers. This is major because there has never been a free way to do this before and there has never been a way to do it on personal profile.

This is a year to focus on Tiktok, Facebook, youtube, and Pinterest. Now, if you LOVE Instagram and it’s working for you then keep going.

TREND 3: The best language to use to connect with potential business partners

Network marketing has been around for a long, long time and it comes with a reputation that isn’t always the best reputation. The minute you bring up direct sales, network marketing or mlm many people will immediately close themselves off to the conversation. It is usually because of outdated or false information, but never the less it can make it difficult to find the right people.

Now, here is where it gets exciting. The tides are turning.

If you ask any 20 year old what they want to do for work many of them will say that they want to be influencers and affiliate marketers.

They want to create content for social media and get paid for recommending products.

Newsflash my friends. That is network marketing with a fresh spin and we’ve been doing for 100 years.

So, if you want to connect with people who are OPEN to what you do then talk about affiliate marketing and influencer marketing. This is fresh language that excites people.

Trend 4: Short Form Video

Short form video isn’t going anywhere. It is here to stay. It started on Tiktok, and now Facebook and Instagram have Reels, youtube has shorts, and Pinterest even has short form video now.

All social media platforms are primarily pushing out this type of content and it has created a new and exciting way for people to grow their followings quickly.

If you aren’t using short form video yet, then this is the year to start. If you are only going to do 1 type of content in 2023 this is it!
