BLACK FRIDAY PLAYBOOK FOR NETWORK MARKETERS

Black Friday is your chance to explode your business. It’s not about hoping to make a few sales—it’s about taking intentional actions that lead to real growth. Let’s get to it.
PRIME YOUR SALES FUNNEL NOW
Action Steps:
Post Daily: Create content that shares what makes your products amazing, why they work, and how they’ve changed your life. Post every single day leading up to Black Friday. People need to see it repeatedly to even think about buying.
Engage in Conversations: Reach out to past customers and potential buyers. Send a simple message like:
“Hey [Name], Black Friday is coming and we have our biggest deals of the year. Still interested in trying [Product]? Want me to let you know when the sale starts?”
Collect Names Now: Build a list of everyone who’s interested but hasn’t pulled the trigger yet. This is your hotlist for Black Friday. The bigger your list, the bigger your sales.
SET YOURSELF APART
People are bombarded with ads on Black Friday. What sets you apart is your personal touch and genuine connection and most importantly YOUR STORY.
Remember, that people don't buy what you sell. They are buying the transformation.
Action Steps:
DMs & Personal Messages: Skip the fancy marketing talk. Be human. Message them about their specific concerns and why this product can help them. When you do this it should be based around previous conversations you've had or something they've posted in their stories or on their social media. Avoid messaging people and saying "Hey! It looks like you need to lose weight". That's a great way to not just lose the sale, but offend someone. 🤣
“Hey [Name], I know we've discussed your struggle with [their challenge]. Just wanted to let you know, this Friday I can get you the best price on [Product]. Do you want in?
Story Posts with your personal story: Share your story, not just sales graphics. Use Instagram and Facebook Stories to talk directly to your audience about why you love the product and how it’s impacted your life. Use a mix of talking-head videos and written stories for different types of viewers.
CREATE URGENCY
People need a reason to buy now. This is where Black Friday shines—but only if you create urgency around the deals.
Action Steps:
Post that create urgency: Let people know exactly when the deals start, and how long they’ll last. Every day of your sale remind them that this offer only lasts x amount of time.
Limited Availability: Mention if there’s a limited number of spots/products available. Scarcity drives action.
“I’ve got 5 promo codes left for the biggest discount of the year—DM me if you want me to hold one for you.”
Be Direct: Don’t be afraid to follow up and close.
“Hey [Name], it’s the last day of the Black Friday sale. Do you want me to set you up with the promo code before it’s gone?”
KEEP IT SIMPLE
Make it as easy as possible for someone to purchase from you.
Send direct links: Make sure your link to purchase is easy to find. Put it in your bio, send it directly to your potential customer with the promo code if that is needed. Link it in your stories. When someone is ready to purchase you don't want them to have to go hunting for the right link.
Follow Up With Everyone: You’ll need to follow up multiple times, especially during Black Friday. Assume people are busy and forgot to respond. Reach out again and make it easy:
“Hey [Name], just following up before the deal ends. Want me to send you the link to grab [Product] at X percent off?”
FOCUS ON VALUE, NOT SALES
I know you've likely heard someone say "add value" before and maybe you're not sure exactly what that means. So here's a simple explanation. Sales are awesome, but you need to build trust first. Adding value through education, humor and personal stories BUILDS trust. Black Friday is the perfect time to build your customer base for the long haul by adding tons of value to your audience.
Action Steps:
Mix Selling with Storytelling: Don’t make every post a “buy now” post. Share why you started using these products, how they’ve helped you, and why you trust them for yourself and your family. Remember, that your story of transformation is what will hook people in. If they can see your transformation for themselves, they will be ready to pull out that credit card and shop.
Educate to Build Credibility: Post educational content explaining why your product is effective, how it’s different, or even share customer testimonials. This builds trust and makes people feel good about buying.
Your Daily To-Do List for Black Friday Success:
Post About Your Transformation and why the products help to change your life. Highlight the benefits, share real results, and always have a call to action.
Engage in 10 Conversations with people you think could benefit from what you’re offering. Follow up on previous messages and spark new conversations.
Share 5-7 Stories a day showcasing what you’re doing, your product, and a mix of humor or behind-the-scenes. Stories are quick but powerful!
Black Friday is a massive opportunity, but it’s only going to be as big as the effort you put into it. Start today—engage, reach out, and fill that funnel. Be clear, be direct, and make sure everyone knows what you’re offering and why they need it.
