HOW TO GET 1,500 EYES ON YOUR NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

by Bec Sadek

3 weeks ago I pre-launched a product for my network marketing company. Now, I don't know about you but I've done hundreds of product launches in network marketing over the past 14 years in the industry.

Some have gone extremely well, some have bombed 🤣

I believe that this was the best executed product launch I've been a part of so I want to break down the entire 2 weeks process for you.

Every step since the pre-launch led to the product officially launching last week and a team launch party that had 1,500 people on LIVE for a full hour.

And here's the craziest part...

At the end of the hour there were still 1,400 fully engaged people on the live and sales started rolling in.

THE LAUNCH STARTS BEFORE THE LAUNCH

The first step is understanding that the launch starts WAY before the actual product launches. We built curiosity, excitement and energy the 2 weeks leading up to the launch.

In network marketing sales are the side effect of excitement and energy. If you can build the anticipation you will have tons of leads when you launch.

So here's the game plan...

  1. CREATE A LAUNCH CHAT

We opened up sales early for our brand partners so that every single person could try and test the products before we went live for customers. We created a chat for everyone who bought the brand partner launch chat. This created community and connection around the launch. People were able to ask questions, share excitement around the products arriving and the first time using the products, and it gave us a place to share and collect testimonials. We created this chat as a community chat inside of our team Facebook group. This allowed us to have as many people join as possible. During the pre-launch phase we had over 1,000 people join this chat.

  2. ENCOURAGE BEFORE/AFTERS

We taught our team how to take before and after photos so we had many testimonials and visuals for social media. We were able to start sharing these to create a buzz around the product and how well it works. People need to see things multiple times before they decide they want to make a purchase. This allowed us to share and show tangible results before the product even launched.

  3. USE CURIOSITY MARKETING

This is KEY. We came together as a team and named our next big build to a viral product. We did this with happy juice 7 years ago and it took off like a rocket ship. 🚀 This time we did it again and instead of using the actual name of the product we called it Fermented Haircare. We chose an up and coming trend that we knew would create at on of curiosity on social media.

  4. CREATE A LAUNCH EVENT WITH A KILLER GIVEAWAY

We got our team posting the before/afters and using curiosity marketing so they had a list of people who were interested to invite to the event. We chose a killer giveaway and taught people to use that giveaway to invite. Who wouldn't show up to an event with the chance to win a free Dyson air wrap?

All of this buildup led to a launch party that had 1,500 people show up live and excited to learn more and have the chance to win some cool prizes.

If you want to see how we did the launch party I have a special invite for you. Come check it out in our private group here.
